One of my favorite "pick me up" songs is from the movie The Sound of Music!  I love when Maria has all the children in her room and they are dancing and singing and jumping on the bed during a thunder storm naming all of their favorite things!  It's so true that when you focus on the positive you can't get dragged down by the negative (which Sat*n would just love for us to be negative and grumpy and complaining).  This week has been a rainy week and we've been singing, "Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun, please shine down on me!"  Poor Julia keeps asking to go to the park, and I want to also!  Today we did see the sun, finally!  But, here are a few of my favorite things...

All these things make me smile, make me relax, and make me happy to be Kristi.  I feel blessed when I take the time to think of all my favorite things and all the blessings God has given me.  I hope they make you smile too, what are some of your favorite things???
