This week we will be having fun at church every day doing our Vacation Bible School program!
This year's theme is Pandamania!
It is my fourth year helping out in the kitchen, and my second year co-leading it!
Please pray that we have an awesome turn out of children and that we reach out to our surrounding Old Bridge, NJ community! Lots of little ones get saved at VBS programs because they here the truth about God's love and the simplicity of the gospel message! It's really as simple as ABC!
A-Admit that you are a sinner and can't save yourself!
B-Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins.
C-Confess your sins!
There's no magical prayer, just having an open heart for Christ's love, and asking Him to be your Savior and "clean your heart" is all you need. God loves us so much. Can't wait to share His love with all the "littles" and help them make yummy snacks, and review their lesson of the day!
Please also pray for Julia and Mark. Julia will be in her own big girl class this year with the Pre-K kids, and Mark will be in the nursery with Ms. Donna Grekoski! We all love Mrs. G so I know he is in good hands!
Pray that Mommy (me) gets lots of rest, stays positive, and gets everything else done around the house that needs to get done to function. I'm not going to worry about fancy dinners, or deep cleaning, and I'm not making any play dates...that's huge for me, but a wise friend shared about her VBS week, and I know how exhausting it can be!
I'm not sure how often I'll get around to blogging this week...but I will definitely try to do my Esther Study on Wednesday!
Love you all!

ReplyDeleteGood luck! I'm sure you'll do an excellent job helping out! Our VBS is also this week, but only on Wednesday thru Saturday so hopefully it won't be too tiring. I know exactly how exhausting those whole week VBS series' are! Especially when you've got a bunch of kids. Hope you get a great turn out!
ReplyDeleteThank you my friends! We had over 80 kids today! It was awesome!
