Saturday Recipe Swap...Honey Mustard Baked Chicken
This is me and my 2 year old daughter, Julia, at Woodbridge Mall...we had just rode on the carousel and train!
Honey Mustard Baked Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
1 tsp salt
1 tsp curry powder
2 lbs skinless, boneless chicken breasts
Preheat oven to 375 degrees (it will take 30 minutes to bake)
Directions:
1. Heat the above til butter melts.
2. Place chicken in single layer in a baking dishe
3. Pour sauce over chicken-coating well.
4. Bake and taste.
Super easy!!! Enjoy!!!
I serve this over brown rice.
For Dessert...
Coffee Cake
Topping
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp melted butter
Cake Ingredients
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
Directions:
1. Sift dry cake ingredients togehter, cut in butter.
2. Add egg, milk, and vanilla, beat until smooth.
3. Pour half of batter into grease and floured pan.
You can use a 8 by 8 baking dish and sprinkle half of the topping mixture, and pour in remaining batter and sprinkle the rest of the topping. (So a layer of batter, then sugary topping, a layer of more batter, and the rest of the topping)
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
